Hey You!

I’m Ashley and I’m 28 years old.

I have been fascinated with Photography since I was about 10 years old. I used my dad’s Sony, floppy disk camera until I was creative enough to buy my own. I remember asking my parents for chores so I could earn an allowance and buy my first camera. I bought a little, silver Nikon Coolpix. I loved this tiny thing and carried it around with me in my purse. I never wanted to miss an opportunity to capture something worth while. I mostly photographed the scenery where I grew up and I took some of my most favorite photos with that camera.

(Fun Fact: I wanted to be a Photographer for National Geographic!)

Once I graduated high school, my passion for Photography grew and I began to explore all avenues of the Art. I learned that Photography could turn into a career so I researched entrepreneurship and bought myself some business cards. I taught myself how to properly use my camera and I started building my portfolio.

Photography is still an Art, which means there is no right or wrong. I feel you should just do what brings you the most happiness.

I have become so invested in the Art and I never thought I would be where I am today with my Photography. I am a Lifestyle Photographer that loves to add a vintage and creative touch to my shoots. My editing style generally consists of darker tones with a lot of contract. I love to mix vibrant shades with shades of lower saturation. I haven’t wanted to focus on just one genre because it’s hard for me to resist any opportunity to take photographs.

I have developed a deeper passion for Boudoir Photography because I love empowering women. It is important for women to support other women because society can be very harsh and critical of a woman. I believe women are strong and that we should never stop building confidence in other women.
